Job description: This position is for a talented Senior Database Administrator with 10+ years SQL Server database administration experience to join a growing software company headquartered in Boston. This is a remote position and you MUST be based in the USA to be considered.The suitable Senior Database Administrator’s responsibilities will include and are not limited to:

Being the organization’s in-house SQL Server subject matter expert.
Providing strategic leadership and direction for the data architecture and SQL server database infrastructure of the organization
Work with stakeholders at all levels across all disciplines in the organization to understand business needs
Ensure ongoing system maintenance, performance, security, reliability and scalability of the databases infrastructure
Mentor developers and also work with the DevOps team to ensure optimal use of the system
Review and tune complex SQL statements

Bachelors Degree
10+ years Microsoft SQL Server database administration
Data model and data design experience
SentryOne / SQLSentry experience
Cloud experience (preferably AWS)
PowerShell experience
Experience working with DevOps teams
Excellent communication
