The candidate should have Production Support experience in Application Dev/Support with Incident, Problem, Change and Release management experience.Location: Plano, TX | RemoteRoles and responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Implement security and data protection measures.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in software development.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle.
- Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
- Provide support and guidance to junior team members.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and shared knowledge.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Adhere to industry best practices and contribute to internal and external coding standards
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
Must have skills:
- 5+ years of experience
- Proven experience in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Java, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with jQuery is considered a strong asset.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- A commitment to collaborative problem solving and product quality is critical.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git.
- Knowledge of continuous integration and deployment strategies.
- A passion for learning and adapting to new technologies.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
Good to have:
- Understanding of the Payer domain is beneficial.
Salary and Other Compensation:Applications will be accepted until 08/06/2024.The annual salary for this position is between $45,500 – $74,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:
