Job description: Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Java Developer to support the Administrative Office of the US Courts (AO). This would be a 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, through %100 REMOTE work. The Senior Java Developer will create and maintain enterprise-class software applications while working as a member of an agile development team. Front-end web interfaces, web services, server-side batch processes for business logic, including extract-transform-load (ETL), and database backends make up the current technology stack. Being a part of the continuous modernization process, this role will investigate and create new products, technologies, and standards that can be integrated into the CMSO application suite.Responsibilities of the Senior Java Developer include:· To deliver an excellent user experience, design, build, and maintain code that satisfies specifications, is of the highest caliber, and operates effectively and efficiently· Contributing to improvements in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) utilizing practices such as test-driven development (TDD), static code analysis, code reviews, continuous integration, continuous delivery, and automated security scanning· Write Red Hat Ansible playbooks and keep them updated. Work together with the production support team to suggest a deployment strategy that minimizes risk and user impact· Developing Ansible automation content that will work in an Ansible Tower-based environmentQualifications for the Senior Java Developer include:· 10+ years of IT related experience (Java development focused and working in a Linux environment)· Bachelor’s degree in STEM related field· Experience with CI/CD Pipelines, Ansible, and SOAP UI· Understanding Inner Join and Outer Join· Work Authorization: Green Card Holder or US Citizen onlyCompensation for the Senior Java
