- Requires a bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience. This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring manager.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in instructional design or related field (e.g., curriculum design, education, education technology).
- Four or more years of higher education or relevant experience
- Knowledge of principles and practice of instructional design in addition to pedagogy and andragogy.
- Knowledge of inclusive pedagogies and design.
- Project management experience.
- Knowledge of principles and practice of instructional design in addition to pedagogy and andragogy.

- Experience performing the duties above in a post-secondary environment including online classroom-based and blended/hybrid courses.
- Experience with typical instructional design software and systems including LMS (e.g. Blackboard Learn, Canvas) and related software (e.g., web conferencing), online development tools (e.g., Adobe CS), and other instructional tools (e.g., Camtasia, Articulate).
- Strong commitment to faculty and student success.
- Experience providing individual and group training.
- Proven record of organizational and administrative skills including the ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
- Experience effectively working and communicating with a variety of constituents.
- Excellent judgment, including sensitivity to personal and confidential information.
