Macedon, NYJK Executive Strategies has partnered exclusively with *Baldwin Richardson Foods* (BRF), in its search for an HR Coordinator in Macedon, NY. The HR Coordinator is responsible for carrying out administrative duties and providing holistically support across the HR department, which includes People Operations, Programs, Talent, Employee Experience and remote manufacturing sites. It is a first point of contact for triaging employee questions and concerns in a timely and friendly manner. Attention to detail, ability to multitask and prioritize, high degree of confidentiality and customer services skills are requirements for a success in this role.BRF has strong supply relationships with some of the world’s largest Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), Quick Service Restaurants (QSR), and Food Service customers. The Company also manufactures and markets Mrs. Richardson’s Ice Cream Toppings and Nance’s Mustards and Condiments. To enable continued growth, they have kicked off a company-wide transformation, touching everything from the way they look for and at commercial opportunities to the way they manufacture and deliver products for their existing customers.Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees who have Benefits, Health & Wellness, HRIS, LOA, and system (ADP, BRF Connect) related questions; this includes any letters or mailings. If required, triage questions to correct team members and provide follow through to ensure timely and thorough closing the loop with employees.
  • Serves as the primary administrator for our HRIS, ADP Workforce Now. This includes accountability for the accuracy of all data in the HRIS system, performing regular self-audits, and providing scheduled and ad-hoc reports to the team and organization.
  • Process data entry into HRIS system to include employee record changes, leaves of absences, transfers, compensation changes, new hires and terminations based on written documentation (PAN or employee letter) for all BRF locations. This requires critical thinking to ensure integrity of data and alignment with internal processes.
  • Assist with data requests related to statutory reporting (e.g., EEO-1 and Vets-100)
  • Responsible for the accurate maintenance of all HR files including timely scanning and uploading to ADP/E-files, and hard copy filing. On a regular schedule, audit physical files and send to off site storage according to company records retention policies.
  • Administration of uniform program for Macedon and Williamson plants.
  • Manage Cintas portal regarding new hires, size changes and terminations.
  • Liaison between employees and Cintas for any issues or concerns.
  • Reviewing and approving invoices.
  • Administration of company safety shoe program for Macedon and Williamson plants.
  • Administrator in Grainger portal. Administer all orders and coordinate returns.
  • Coordinate quarterly Bootmobile.
  • Reviewing and approving invoices.
  • Process Termination paperwork including making changes in ADP and mailing termination paperwork.
  • Serve as main point of contact for incoming calls (including requests for employment verification) for the HR office, handling and directing calls as necessary.
  • Maintain benefits mailbox by accurately tracking health and wellness rebates, maintain spreadsheet, responds to employees, and notify payroll for payouts
  • Fill in at reception in Macedon and Williamson as required for vacations or leaves.
  • Serve as the backup for pre-employment screening, hiring in ADP, offer letter creation.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree (A.A. /A.S.) in business, human resources, or related field; and three years related experience OR Bachelor’s degree and one-year related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of four (4+) years of experience in human resources support including data entry and management of HRIS, ATS, and payroll systems (such as ADP, SAP, PeopleSoft, Paychex). Experience being involved with payroll and therefore understanding all the facets of HRIS data management which feeds into a successful payroll process.
  • Intermediate-level experience with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience performing reception and front desk activities a plus.
  • Able to work out of either Macedon or Williamson facility based on HR activities.
  • Positive, proactive, and collaborative attitude.
  • Ability to provide support to all shifts, which entails shifting hours to early arrival when needed to support company events and activities.
  • Critical thinking skills are a must.
  • Customer service skills – imperative that this role be the champion for the employee and candidates, assisting when able, and filtering the issue or request to other team members when applicable. Timely and thorough closing of the loop with employees is vital.
  • Time management skills – the ability to balance to-do lists, communicate status projects, and keep manager and team updated on any changes to deliverables.
  • Organizational and prioritization skills – the ability to multi-task is a must. There are frequent interruptions throughout the day, and the ability to keep on task and re-prioritize is a must.
  • Must have intermediate experience with HRIS systems including acquiring data as well as knowledge of Outlook. Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Salary Range

  • $56K to $62K annually
