Growing together.As a Launch Leader you will lead the process of ideation, development, and launch of innovative products and services. This includes actively collaborating with sales and marketing teams, developing a plan for going to market with a new product or service, implementing that plan, and analyzing results to improve future launches defining.
You will leverage your keen business insight and strategic mindset to build customer-centric solutions that drive results. You will drive the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) planning and prioritization work to ensure that commitments are met and adherence to the is followed. You will prove to be customer-obsessed and process oriented. This position reports into the Senior Manager, Precision Diagnostics OperationsYou’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:
- Works with business owners, UX team, and directly with customers to identify business opportunities and leads and manages efforts to bring new products to market with a focus on opportunities for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Healthcare Imaging
- Leads and manages the ‘end to end’ product life cycle from strategic planning to development, deployment and related tactical execution to end of life sunsetting
- Defines and analyzes metrics that inform the success of products, including the feature sets, business requirements, and measures of success of an overall roadmap
- Leads and manages the development and/or delivery of budget plans to successfully achieve P&L goals, applying financial acumen to ensure decision quality
- Works closely with senior leadership and stakeholders to ensure that business requirements are understood. Helps prioritize engineering work while balancing the requirements of customers and stakeholders
- Leads, manages, and delivers required outcomes for a portfolio of major projects in order to support the overall strategy
- Understands and applies the necessary regulatory and legal requirements for product, solution, and service offerings

- 5+ years of product management or launch leadership experience for innovative, net new, products and product categories
- 5+ years in Healthcare IT, preferably in one of the following digital segments: medical imaging, Clinical Decision Support industry population health management, or clinical workflow automation
- Solid understanding of healthcare industry market trends and customer needs
- Deep and adaptable knowledge in Product Development Lifecycle and Agile
- Expertise with Microsoft Office and project management applications
- Proven ability to interpret and apply understanding of key financial indicators to make better business decisions
- Proven ability to plan and prioritize a complex array of work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals with attention to detail.
- Proven excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in AI or data governance
- Applied understanding of U.S. government and private payer health plans with associated financial, reimbursement and actuarial
- Applied understanding of UX Design principals and working with UX teams
- Proven solid interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills within a multicultural environment
- Proven solid internal negotiating skills
- Proven ability to make timely decisions

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88,000 to $173,200 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
