Job description: Logan Regional Medical Center is a 132-bed acute care facility in Logan, West Virginia. The hospital offers a full range of health care services in a recently expanded facility. A renovated $1.1 million Physical Rehabilitation Unit opened in 2003. A $20 million Emergency Department and Facility Renovation, completed in 2005, added approximately 42,000 square feet to the facility and renovated approximately 8,000 square feet within the existing hospital. The Emergency Department includes 22 rooms, a portable X-ray unit, a CAT scan, a portable ultrasound, X-ray rooms and three trauma rooms. The second floor includes the Women’s Center, with three labor and delivery suites, a staging area and a nine-bed nursery with the latest in safety and LDR security features. PACS Technology, which allows physicians in the Emergency Department to make consultations 24 hours a day with radiologists at other facilities across the country, has also been installed. Req ID 518870 Post Date 08/23/2024 Save JobDescriptionFor the physician enterprise, serves as the primary resource for support, and troubleshooting of the electronic health record (“EHR”) system used by physician practices throughout ScionHealth. This is a work-from-home (WFH) role. This position will be the primary contact for all local market super-users and this role will provide support, education, and training for such super-users.This role will work closely with ScionHealth Support Center (the “Support Center”) leadership, local market team members, and information technology (“IT”) team members to provide direction on EHR set-up; market level department adds/provider adds/market user adds; optimization of EHR tools and workflow.Assist with the EHR Quality measures to confirm measures are being reviewed and documented appropriately, for Quality incentives.Qualifications/Skills: Knowledge of EHR record processes, problem identification, medical data processing practice. Possess an understanding of workflows, policies, procedures, patient care and clinical business objectives and regulatory requirements. Advanced knowledge in performing to resolve critical problems, coordinate simultaneous efforts, improve program efficiencies. Ability to support end-user needs across multiple sites (i.e., practice locations). Strong leadership and communication skills, both written and oral.Knowledge of Quality/MIPS programs.·Strong oral and written communication skills;·Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects to meet the needs required on a day-to-day basis of physician services;·Demonstrated ability to establish and build strong relationships across a broad range of personality types;·Excellent leadership and teaching abilities;·Demonstrated knowledge of advanced computer skills;·Understands pertinent regulatory guidelines;·Proficiency in clinical applications relating to EHR.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:·Develop Training programs for clinical users.·Assist with Quality measures with the EHR and practices to make sure quality measures are being reviewed and documented appropriately.·Assist with onboarding of new providers, new medical practice offices, and clinical set up for new departments.·Review, evaluate, and test new IT programs and updates to the current EHR.Develop, implement and train approved processes with team members.·Perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues with EHR software.·Develop documentation to assist with the software training program.·Prioritize and implement requested changes to the system.·Identity, troubleshoot and resolve EHR problems through taking helpdesk calls.Participates in root cause analysis as trends and issues are identified.·Work with the EHR vendor’s support staff to resolve software problems.·Ensures that the software functions efficiently daily and promote system security and patient confidentiality to ensure compliance.·Participates with peers (internal and external) to identify and evaluate best practices in training and EHR implementation.·All other duties as assigned.$60,000-$80,000 Salary Range QualificationsEducation and Experience:§Requires a minimum of high school diploma; prefer a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree.§Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a medical office setting.§Minimum of two (2) years’ experience providing EHR support; helpdesk in a healthcare setting.§EHR experience required and experience with AthenaHealth preferred.§Excellent verbal and written communication skills with great attention to detail.§Quality/MIPS experience preferred.
