Job description: Fast paced medical billing company seeking full-time remote MIPS Program Coordinator.SIGN ON BONUS AND OPPORTUNITY FOR ADDITIONAL INCENTIVES!Leading Radiology Medical Billing Company is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, and quality improvement-committed professional to serve as MIPS Program Coordinator. This individual should be focused on enhancing patient care and optimizing financial incentives for our clients.The MIPS Program Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the MIPS program, including performance monitoring, data submission, and quality improvement initiatives. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure that our healthcare providers meet and exceed MIPS performance standards, ultimately enhancing patient care and optimizing financial incentives.Key Responsibilities: * Works closely with department leaders and key program managers
- As the MIPS Program Coordinator, you will be responsible for facilitating the continuous attainment of successful reporting performance while providing subject matter expertise to meet the organization’s goals as they relate to the CMS MIPS Quality Payment Program
- Proactively stay up to date on the CMS Quality Payment Program (QPP), which includes the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS)
- Monitor provider eligibility requirements
- Help determine which measures will provide the best outcome for each practice, annually
- Audit charts to ensure compliance with each measure
- Review provider documentation and prepare feedback reports required for selected quality measures
- Provider education related to the MIPS/QPP program and best practice recommendations providing guidance to maximize Medicare reimbursement
- Documentation of gap analysis and review of areas requiring improvement
- Assist in the development of MIPS templates
- Quarterly, YTD scoring evaluation and presentation
- Facilitation of retrospective reviews, coding, and provider feedback in collaboration with RCM leadership
- Small practice exceptions filing via the QPP portal
- Improvement Activity annual reporting via the QPP portal
- Targeted reviews as required
- Exceptions applications as needed
- Adheres to policies, procedures, and guidelines relative to departmental operations
Qualifications: * Certified Professional Coder (CPC), preferred
- 3+ years of recent MIPS documentation and reporting experience
- Experience with the QPP portal and ability to navigate the required processes
- Experience with the NRDR a plus
- Highly organized
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Word
- Keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments
- there may be some travel required (less than a RVP)
