If you have a proven track record of upgrading ServiceNow to the Vancouver version and are passionate about driving IT service excellence, we want to hear from you.Position Description:As a ServiceNow Expert specializing in the Vancouver version upgrade, you will play a critical role in ensuring our organization’s IT service management platform remains at the forefront of efficiency and effectiveness. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to lead, plan, execute, and oversee the successful upgrade of our ServiceNow instance to the Vancouver version.Key Responsibilities: * Upgrade Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive upgrade plan for the ServiceNow instance, including assessing current system configurations, dependencies, and customizations.

  • Technical Expertise: Utilize your deep expertise in ServiceNow to guide the upgrade process, ensuring minimal downtime and a seamless transition to the Vancouver version.
  • Customization and Configuration: Analyze existing configurations and customizations to identify necessary adjustments or enhancements during the upgrade process. Make recommendations for optimizing workflows and processes.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Lead testing efforts to validate the functionality and performance of the upgraded system. Identify and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear and thorough documentation of the upgrade process, including configuration changes, testing results, and user guides.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they can effectively navigate and utilize the upgraded ServiceNow platform.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT teams and business units, to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and address post-upgrade issues.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
  • 5+years’ experience Software Development
  • Extensive experience with ServiceNow platform, with a focus on upgrading to the Vancouver version.
  • ServiceNow certification is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience in planning and executing successful ServiceNow upgrades.
  • Strong understanding of IT service management processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for ServiceNow customization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • U.S. Citizenship required for Federal client
