As the Director of Engineering, you will play a key leadership role in shaping and
executing the engineering strategy. You will be responsible for overseeing and driving the
success of our engineering teams. The ideal candidate will bring a proven track record of
leadership in a professional services environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality and innovative solutions.Responsibilities
This person will ensure effective delivery of services to meet or exceed business
expectations for the Service Management team, while achieving appropriate balance
between quality of outcomes, risks, and the life cycle cost of such services
Monitors service execution to ensure that services are delivered within agreed upon
service levels and that both users and business partners are satisfied
Proactively monitors and measures service performance and metrics
Serves as an initial point of escalation for significant incidents that interrupt service
availability or diminish performance
Remove blockers or bottlenecks on the projects.
Ensure that there is proper documentation for the work being completed
Ensure that there is reporting in place for operational work where the work is in
production (e.g., includes dashboards, SOPs, SLA/SLO/SLIs, metrics agreed upon by the
client, run books)
Ensure that the budget meets the needs and meets the SOW deliverables
Identify roadmap items to extend consulting opportunities with customer
Provide monthly and quarterly reviews on progress towards agreed upon goals
Identify operational opportunities for sales opportunities (e.g., managed services)Qualifications
10+ years of experience with IT service delivery management, including direct oversight
of IT services. Candidate must be out of IT Services and Delivery.
Schedule and attend regular update calls with the client to assess and evaluate the
expectations against the deliverables.
Take attendance of all employees by the project (starts early in the AM), will report all
missing employees to HR for updates in ADP. Review weekly timecards, and status
reports.
Assess all the assigned tasks in Jira or Excel by an employee by a project on each
internal/standup meeting.
Setting up and performing biweekly customer stakeholder meetings for performance
reviews.
Conduct 1:1 calls with each member of the team every week for at least 15 mins,
performance assessments.
Review the code being presented to the client to determine whether the product
delivered is good, great, or below expectations.
Set up and attend frequent 1:1s with key decision makers (KDMs) to build rapport, this
could include face to face/in person meetings (travel).
Building, executing, and closing SOW’s with the sales team.
Coach and mentor employees through the development process and develop personal
improvement plans.
Interviewing candidates for internal and external (customer) roles.
Social Skills
Self-starter leader and individual who creates their tasks, backlog, and roadmap and
communicates weekly with leadership on alignment, progress, risks, and opportunities.

Any travel between working locations will need to be approved in advance.
About Working Remote in this role
Travel will be required at least 4 times per year. At maximum, travel will be 6-8 times per
year
Working the necessary hours to get the job done successfully
A high network bandwidth will be needed for video, audio, and software development,
all simultaneously. A working cellular phone that works in your home office and/or a
working solution to have your cell phone/home phone work effectively
Working locations include your home office, company office, and customer office. All
working locations must be secure. Advanced Pre-approval is required to work in a
different location outside the home office and company officeSuccessful execution for working remotely includes but is not limited to the
