IMPACT: In this pivotal role, you will not only manage projects but also help shape the company’s project management practice and strengthen client relationships.A Day in the Life:
- Lead end-to-end project management for Oracle implementations, upgrades, and optimizations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, risk management strategies, and reporting structures.
- Efficiently allocate resources, including project teams, budgets, to ensure project success.
- Coordinate with technical and functional teams to ensure project objectives are met and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet quality standards and align with client expectations through regular reviews and feedback sessions.
- Monitor project budgets and resource allocation, proactively identifying and addressing any potential issues or deviations.
- Provide regular project updates to senior leadership, including status reports, progress metrics, and performance evaluations.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices within the organization.
- Travel to clients on a milestone basis
IDEAL PROFILE:10+ years of project management experience, specifically with Oracle applications (Cloud and EBS), including 5+ recent years working with an IT Professional Services firm. * Proven track record of managing complex projects with cross-functional teams at manufacturing, retail, and/or financial services clients.Strong understanding of Oracle technologies and related business processes. * Knowledge of project management methodologies and change management processes.
- Possesses a continual improvement mindset and a high level of fortitude to drive projects to completion.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in utilizing project tracking software, as well as the Microsoft Office / 365 Suite (Outlook, Word, Visio, Excel, Visio, etc.).
- Reside in the eastern or central time zone and able to travel for project milestones.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
- PMP or similar certification preferred.
- US Citizen or US Permanent Resident (Green Card holder)
Expected salary: $165000 – 180000 per year
