Services that DIT provides reach a client base of state and local government agencies, as well as schools, colleges and universities. The NCID Service is a unified digital identitymanagement and authorization system for the State’s eBusiness. The service provides authentication, authorization, administration, and auditing functions.As a member of the Identity management (ldM) team, the Operating Systems Software Programmer is responsible for operating, maintaining and troubleshooting the Linux based infrastructure components of the NCID Service.
Duties include, but are not limited, to:
- Provide infrastructure support and maintenance, including application patching, vulnerability management, load testing, and the functional testing of system components
- Assist customer with infrastructure related issues and enterprise directory support
- Proactive monitoring, performance management, and capacity planning for serviceresources
- Ensure coordination with peer organizations and vendors that support the infrastructure
- Assist with IdM assimilation of customer application by resolving integration issues
- Provide tactical recommendations ensuring the 24×7 highly available environments arestable and accessible.
