Eligible for Shift Differential for hours after 3pm. - Rapid acute mental health screening, referral, and documentation ? Respond to the Emergency Department within prescribed time frame and complete acute mental health screening of patients who have been identified to be at risk of harm to themselves or others. Upon completion of screening, complete appropriate referrals which may include inpatient psychiatric hospitalization or outpatient mental health services, and complete all associated documentation in a timely manner.
- Collaboration with Service Providers ? Maintain ongoing communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure strong partnerships with mental health service providers.
- Professional Development ? Demonstrate active involvement and leadership within the team, department, and hospital by regular attendance at meetings and educational opportunities, serving as a consultant for other members of the department and hospital, participation on committees, and responding to hospital and/or community requests for educational programs.
QualificationsMaster’s Degree Social Work or Counseling and 3-5 years’ experience. 1 year experience acceptable if incumbent holds a clinical license. Must have a social work license (LMSW/LCSW/LSCSW) or professional counseling license (LPC/LCPC) in Missouri upon hire. Candidates licensed with a master level social work license, must be engaged in clinical supervision.
