Job description:
· 10+ years of experience working with Cassandra in production environments, with a deep understanding of its Clienthitecture, replication strategies, and tuning techniques.
· Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, especially in managing distributed systems such as Cassandra within a containerized environment.
· Strong foundation of Linux administration fundamentals.
· Familiarity with observability best practices and tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
· Proficiency in automation and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) to streamline infrastructure management tasks.
· Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on diagnosing performance and scalability issues in distributed systems.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
· Technical Writing (Documentation, process documents, proposals).
· Kubernetes certifications are desirable (e.g. Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)).
· Knowledge of the cloud platform (e.g., droplets, spaces, networking) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., ansible, chef) is advantageous.
