Their predictive analytics platform applies artificial intelligence and machine learning technology with trusted online/offline data intelligence from email, phone address, IP, device, velocity, and the broader internet to verify identities in real-time.They are currently looking for a Data Scientist to join their Verify team, based remotely anywhere in the USA. The Verify team is responsible for developing cutting-edge entity-resolution algorithms, using graph techniques on massive datasets for entity searching and matching.This role involves building the foundation of many data-driven teams and products, generating new features for fraud prevention, building probabilistic models for identity matching, automating data-processing pipelines, evaluating the performance of new data vendors, and providing analytical support to the compliance and regulatory product suite, including a highly acclaimed Know-Your-Customer (KYC) product.Responsibilities:
- Analyze large data sets to develop identity graphs, optimize graph structure, and build algorithms to drive innovative identity-verification solutions.
- Focus on product improvement, resolve key points to help identify key challenges and provide feedback and solutions to clients.
- Apply machine learning in analysis, conduct data mining, utilize statistical analysis, and build graph-based algorithms designed to analyze massive data sets.
- Understand and resolve computational limitations related to parallelizing algorithm application and data processing.
- Develop and improve models, and perform A/B testing analysis of production data.
- Provide analytic support to the compliance-product teams.
- Report on project status to senior management.
- Work well in a fast-paced cross-functional environment.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience or Ph.D. with 1+ years of experience working in a data science/engineer analytical role.
- Experience in developing data-driven algorithms in information retrieval, relevance, or machine learning and working with distributed systems.
- Programming skills in Python, R, or Scala, SQL, and Pysql.
- Familiarity with Spark/PySpark, common ML libraries, and the AWS ecosystem, including EMR and S3.
- Experience with data mining, unsupervised machine learning algorithms, and statistical tools and underlying theory.
- Experience in developing data pipelines and automated workflows.
- Additionally, experience with Neo4j/AWS Neptune (graph tools and databases analyzing large data sets to extract value), Elasticsearch or DynamoDB, and Airflow for automating data pipeline and workflow or equivalents is a big plus!
Salary Disclosure:Base Salary range: $125,000 – $150,000This represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Final offers may vary from the amount listed based on factors including geography, candidate experience and expertise, and other job-related factors.
