For more information, please visit our .The position is an advanced complex level specialist that coordinates and oversees all Bureau of Children’s Coordinated Health Policy and Supports grants implemented statewide, funding streams and contracts which includes development and monitoring. This position has sole expert statewide authority and responsibility for management, decision making, coordination and recommendations of activities related to the children’s section of the Federal Mental Health Block Grant (FMHBG) but also takes on the oversight of highly complex multi-project, multi-million-dollar funding within the Bureau of Children’s Coordinated Health Policy and Supports and a number of other specialty grants and agreements. This position is responsible for the development of the federal mental health block grant proposal for children as well as the implementation of, monitoring and reporting to SAMHSA. As the grant, funding and contract lead for the Bureau, the position coordinates and oversees spending plans that include, but are not limited to, the aforementioned grants, contracts, and agreements, working with internal and external partners, other administrations, and the administration’s budget liaison to monitor plans and accounts and provides training, guidance and mentorship to Bureau staff and MPHI Affiliate employees supporting grants and contracts. The position identifies areas that require efficiencies, recommends to leadership of the Bureau those activities to achieve fiscal and programmatic efficiencies and then implements those efficiencies. This position leads and facilitates the bidding processes determined by funding sources and works the Bureau of Grants and Purchasing regarding fiscal policy and its implementation.To be considered for this position you must:
