This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity and legal compliance of the company’s human resources practices, mitigating risks, and promoting a culture of ethical business conduct. This role will also create and establish a strong partnership with our legal team.Key Responsibilities:
- Work cross-functionally to develop, implement, and maintain HR compliance programs and policies for NVA GP
- Mitigate NVA’s human resources compliance risks, rolling out new compliance initiatives, and managing all human resource compliance matters
- Foster a culture of HR compliance and ethics throughout the organization through effective communication and training initiatives
- Develop metrics and reports to measure compliance effectiveness and present findings to senior management
- Create, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and alignment with industry best practices
- Provide guidance and support to HR team members and management on HR compliance-related issues
- Lead internal investigations into HR compliance violations and ensure timely and thorough resolution in partnership with appropriate legal team member(s)
- Prepare and submit required compliance reports to regulatory agencies
- Advise and provide strategic support to HR and Operations leaders on the entire scope of human resources compliance matters
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with a strong focus on HR compliance, employee relations, or a related area
- In-depth knowledge of HR laws and regulations, including FMLA, FLSA, ADA, EEO, and other federal, state, and local employment laws
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Significant experience directly handling and providing guidance on a variety of human resources compliance matters required
- Proven track record of delivering pragmatic solutions to compliance problems and resolving disputes effectively and efficiently
- Strong curiosity about the business generally and a willingness to tackle a variety of pre-compliance and employment matters
Compensation:The total cash compensation range for this role (base salary plus opportunity for bonus) is between $149,500 and$172,500.
