Job description: HR Compliance Specialist, LeadKey Role:Oversee the compliance of the company’s human resource policies and practices. Ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as internal standards and procedures. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on various compliance related matters, such as Affirmative Action, hiring and recruitment, compensation, benefits, training, and employee relations. Provide direction, expertise, and support to business units on compliance requirements by applying leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts, while contributing to the development of new principles and concepts. Partner across internal teams as a trusted advisor to drive process optimization and solutions for complex compliance requirements and collaborate with teams to resolve issues and answer questions, including working with legal, operations, contracts, finance, and senior leadership teams. Manage the full project life cycle of compliance-related projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and expectations and ensure timely and effective communication of project status, issues, and risks to senior management and other relevant parties. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.Basic Qualifications8+ years of experience and responsibility for a compliance function within a government contracting organizationExperience leading compliance efforts in support of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations and requirements per the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP)Experience leading the AAP process for an organizationExperience with implementing processes to ensure compliance with international, federal, state, and local lawsExperience conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop mitigation plansExperience submitting data for federal and state reporting, specifically VETS 4212, EEO-1, California and Illinois Pay Data reportingExperience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and WordAbility to monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure ongoing complianceAbility to collaborate with teams to resolve issues and answer questions, including working with legal, operations, contracts, finance, and senior leadership teamsBachelor’s degree in Human Resources or HS diploma or GED and 12+ years of experience with compliance function within a government contracting organization in lieu of degreeAdditional Qualifications:Experience with executing internal audits, risk identification and management, and resolutionAbility to perform research and legal, regulatory, policy, quantitative, and organizational analysesAbility to understand legal documents and communicate requirements to stakeholders in business termsAbility to work both independently and collaboratively on a matrix team and communicate effectivelyActive SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or equivalent Human Resources certificationCompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
