Develop staffing strategies and oversee the recruitment function. Manage new hires; ensure maintenance of employee files; coordinate and lead managers through terminations. Lead efforts around Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) via established Diversity Council. Manage Employee Engagement. Manage and oversee Legal/HR Generalist and Assistant. Lead compensation efforts alongside Finance leaders in regard to annual plans and merit/payroll changes. Manage employee relations alongside Corporate Counsel, when necessary. Counsel employees and managers on job-related issues. Mentor hiring managers on a wide range of organizational and employee issues. Lead the company’s training and performance management processes. Develop human resources planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs for filling said gaps.ProfileRequirements include a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business with concentration in Management, or related field and three years of management work experience in the job offered or related field of human resources.Must have the following:3 years of experience with employment-related laws and regulations.
Federal, State and local employment law and regulations as they relate to employee rights and employer obligations.
Laws related to employee benefits, workplace safety, workplace discrimination, wages, and work hours
3 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
