Job Description:Key Responsibilities:Employee Relations:
- Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations, performance management issues, and conflict resolution
- Enhance job satisfaction by promptly resolving issues, applying new perks and benefits, and fostering a positive work environment
- Promote HR programs aimed at creating an efficient and conflict-free workplace
Compliance:
- Conduct compliance training for employees and managers, ensuring understanding and adherence to all relevant employment regulations
- Develop HR initiatives and handle HR projects to ensure compliance with federal and state mandates
- Research discrepancies between employees, payroll, benefit providers, and government agencies to ensure the accuracy of records and compliance
- Handle and process worker compensation claims and manage compliance with ADA, Leave of Absence, and other state-mandated time off requirements
Benefits Administration:
- Assist employees with benefit-related questions and issues, ensuring they understand and utilize their benefits effectively
- Identify and implement new benefits and perks to enhance employee satisfaction and retention
Policy Development and Improvement:
- Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies
- Identify ways to improve HR policies and procedures and provide training and support to HR team members
Other Duties:
- Perform all other duties as assigned by HR management to support the overall HR function
Performance Measurements:
- Effectively understand information and options, give appropriate considerations to information, make correct decisions, analyze and interpret information, and react to changing situations consistently
- Adjust to changing circumstances as needed and be flexible in responding to issues
- Effectively work with facts and figures and accurately transform, compile, and project data accordingly
- Accurately and efficiently perform all duties and responsibilities as described above
Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years relevant experience
- Possesses superb written and spoken communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills
- Excellent computer skills, knowledge of Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and Microsoft Office
- General knowledge of employment law, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred
- Organized and efficient in daily tasks
- Superior analytical skills plus demonstrated ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously

- Manage anger/hostility or other emotions appropriately
- Work alone
- Work in confined or crowded areas
Physical Requirements:This is a ‘Sedentary’ position; there will be prolonged periods of sitting, and exerting up to 10 pounds of force may be occasionally required. Additionally, this position will be required to:
- Sit for 2+ hours per day
- Hear alarms/telephone/tape recorders/horns/normal voices
- Bend at the waist, occasionally
- Have clarity of vision
