Please note, this is not a remote position.How you will make an impact::General HR for Corporate Team Members
- Serve as main point of contact for employee relation situations that arise with our corporate team members. Partner with our Leadership Team Members and Managers to support our corporate team members.
- Promote and maintain a mindset that sees the best in people.
- Establish and maintain team member records in company systems (Paycom, Salesforce, BOX, etc…).
- Document and manage workers compensation program and quarterly reporting. Serve as key point of contact for new claims and responses for our corporate team members.
- Lead efforts to communicate and manage accommodation request review/approval/declinations for corporate team members, as needed.
- Manage i9 program performing quarterly audits, remediate, as necessary.
- Evaluate and track personal LOA and FMLA requests providing documentation and reporting as well as return to work transition. Manage STD and LTD programs.
- Execute and manage compliance workplace postings required.
- Complete employment verifications and verification of hours as needed to support the business.
- Respond to unemployment claims in a timely manner and attend hearings, as required.
- Conduct various internal reporting and audits, as requested.
- Maintain confidentiality with all PHI and PII information.
- Manage new hire onboarding program for corporate team members and compliance training requirements to ensure completion.
- Assist with other projects and programs, as requested.
Compensation
- Research and compare each position annually or more often, as needed, to support effective and competitive pay programs.
- Maintain knowledge of economic conditions, labor market, and other factors related to ensuring the organization provides competitive and reasonable compensation scales and structures.
- Provide recommendations and document incentive compensation models, as they evolve, partnering with internal stakeholders.
- Complete Communication Sheets for off-cycle updates and provide to Finance to support payroll.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to compensation of our team members.
Performance Management and Organization Development
- Lead performance management program (currently run annually) for all team members, field and corporate.
- Trains team members on HR issues and practices. Presents course materials.
- Assist in training and staff development to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance in achieving the goals and objectives of the company.
- Identifies and incorporates best practices and lessons learned into program plans.
What you need to be successful::Minimum Requirements
- 4 years of current HR experience in small to medium sized organizations handling Employee Relations and General HR/Compliance.
- 2+ years of experience working on Compensation OR Performance Management programs.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Ability to work with confidential information and use discretion, as required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to multitask and work independently.
- All-around good team member who is cooperative, approachable, and dedicated to helping others succeed.
