- Serve as a Storage Area Network (SAN) Administrator for the Directorate of Information Management (DOIM).
- Manage the design and deployment of new storage systems.
- Determine the impact of new or revised software on system resources, operations, and applications
- Resolve complex multi-vendor hardware, software, and networking compatibility issues with the SAN.
- Report on data storage capabilities to ensure proper management and capacity planning.

- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- The incumbent of this position must obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- The incumbent of this position must be able to successfully complete the government Systems Administrator/Network Manager Security Course, Phases I and II.
- A physical examination due to moderate lifting of items weighing up to 50 pounds is required of this position.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) may be required for this position, up to 10%.
- The incumbent of this position is subject to call-in during non-duty hours.
- Incumbent is required to complete and obtain the required certification/recertification for this position as outlined in DoD Publication 8140.03Cyberspace Workforce Qualification and Management Program effective 15 February 2023.
