Job description: The Key Account Manager role entails overseeing a set of mid-tier customers, shaping success strategies, analyzing partner data, and identifying upsell and revenue sharing opportunities, all while ensuring high levels of partner satisfaction. As trusted advisors to our partners, Key Account Managers play a pivotal role in driving success through strong relationships and contributing to company revenue. Your role is to be a subject matter expert on our product offerings, build and maintain long-term relationships with assigned partners, as well as enabling them to realize new revenue streams. You are a point of contact for your assigned partners, dealing with partner queries, requests etc. You work to achieve growth in collaboration with the GTM team, Sales Engineers, and Customer Support team. You drive operational excellence by leveraging our CRM (SFDC) and other tools for market analytics, customer interactions, and opportunities.Additionally, Key Account Managers contribute to high-priority initiatives both within the GTM department and across the organization. Whether as individual contributors they mentor junior account managers, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure the entire GTM team achieves its sales targets and other success metrics. Furthermore, they actively contribute to process optimization and business development planningResponsibilities: • Call on assigned accounts, managing all aspects of product sales and support
- Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts and agreements
- Must be competent to present, engage and develop relationships at all levels
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities and coordinate with other parts of the GTM Team including Marketing, Presales, Revenue Operations and Customer Support.
- Identify, investigate and qualify new product development opportunities
- Support Strategic Account Plan development and implementation
- Grow all aspects of given territory in line with budgets and forecasts
Qualifications: • In-depth knowledge of key accounts in the region, as well as the state of the industry within the region and WebPros’value proposition to drive growth and increase market share.
- Key Account Managers may need to analyze sales data, customer metrics, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategic account plans. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data are valuable in this role.
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems, sales analytics tools, and other relevant software platforms to document customer interactions and leveraging data to drive and inform activities.
- Translate offering and unit prices into revenue realization strategies for the partner along with the activation plans to realize those revenue forecasts, reviewing them on a frequent basis and make recommendations for the partner to adopt to further accelerate their revenue
