- Execute all aspects of the Agency’s annual marketing and sales activities, including brand management, product promotion, advertising, digital marketing, social media, and customer relationship management.
- Implement the planning and execution of a multi-year strategy to increase awareness among the Public and Federal Agencies of the Agency’s value proposition, authorities, products, services, and capabilities.
- Evaluate and optimize sales and marketing programs by establishing best practices; build collaborative relationships with individuals, teams, and partners outside of OPD to accomplish the Agency’s goals.
- Support Agency-wide planning and implement strategies, tactics, and activities, in coordination with NTIS Offices, to meet or exceed the Agency’s annual revenue targets.
- Develop marketing product plans, including strategies and tactical plans targeted toward growing the Agency’s customer base and enhancing revenue.
- Implement an Agency-level lead generation and customer acquisition strategy to generate sufficient annual revenue to support the Agency’s operations and activities.
- Develops and implements a multi-year customer relationship management strategy that identifies and targets key stakeholders, including past, current, and potential customers.

QualificationsTo qualify, applicants must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-13 level. Specialized experience is defined as making decisions and initiating required action in program planning, scheduling, or budgeting and reviewing marketing officers’ products.Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
