Onyx Collective, a content brand within Hulu Originals and formed under Disney Entertainment, is designed to curate a slate of premium programming by creators of color and underrepresented voices.Onyx Collective ushers an exciting slate of content for a global audience! This includes critically acclaimed debut project Questlove’s Oscar®-winning documentary “Summer of Soul (…Or, When the Revolution Could Not Be Televised)”; “The Hair Tales,” from executive producers Tracee Ellis Ross, Michaela Angela Davis and Oprah Winfrey; legal drama “Reasonable Doubt,” from executive producers Raamla Mohamed, Kerry Washington and Larry Wilmore; award-winning documentary, “Aftershock,” from directors Paula Eiselt and Tonya Lewis Lee, and comedy series “Unprisoned,” executive produced and starring Kerry Washington and Delroy Lindo.What You Will DoYou will be exposed to the day-to-day responsibilities of working in the entertainment marketing field, gain understanding of social media campaign building, project management, internal/external communication, and will receive continuous mentorship from dedicated team members. You will engage in brainstorm discussions and will be encouraged to bring forth new creative social media ideas to our team! You will also be responsible for conducting social media research and gathering creative social media trends, making suggestions as to how they may be relevantly incorporated into campaigns.Required Qualifications & SkillsFamiliarity with using social media platforms and with the changing social media landscapeExperience developing and/or communicating innovative and creative social media ideasExperience working in collaborative environments and managing multiple projectsHigh attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environmentExperience handling confidential informationPreferred QualificationsPrevious experience (academic or internship) in related industryMajor or previous coursework in Marketing, Digital Media, or related fieldEducationBe enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Professional InternshipUndergraduate students in their Junior or Senior year or recently graduated within the past 6 months preferredEligibility Requirements & Internship InformationCandidates for this opportunity MUST meet all of the below requirements:Be at least 18 years of ageHave not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.Possess unrestricted work authorizationAdditional InformationAble to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internshipThis internship is a remote position and requires a working, reliable internet connection as well as a quiet, dedicated workspaceThe approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through early June 2025Fully available to work 40 hours per week during a Monday through Friday schedule, 9am-6pm PTThe pay rate for this remote role is $22.00 per hour.
