- You will perform chemical and physical testing on samples received at the laboratory according to all requirements and guidelines provided by standard operating procedures.
- You will ensure that fuel impurity levels are within safety limitations.
- You will provide quality control and inspection services for all products received, stored, issued, or transferred at the Area of Responsibility (AOR).
- You will keep designated laboratory work areas stock with adequate supply of reagents and solvents.
- You will maintain records of all tests performed, both written and electronic.

QualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Conducting and analyzing a wide variety of chemical and physical tests while applying physical science principles and methodologies; 2) Providing quality control and inspection services; and 3) Assisting with corrective maintenance of laboratory equipment to support readiness of operating units.Additional qualification information, including the Individual Occupational Requirement, can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website:Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
