Job description: Kaeppel Consulting has an immediate need for a PM III/IV Consultant that has healthcare/ health insurance experience. All candidates that will be considered for this position MUST hold prior experience leading initiatives as a Consultant in the healthcare/ health insurance industry. This position will be a long-term temporary role, a Remote position.Potential candidates from the following states ONLY:

- Extensive experience in project planning, execution and execute assigned projects which deliver cost, service and/or process and efficiency improvements
- Effectively work across multiple business units and functional teams to drive results.
- Utilize standard approaches to solving problems and enforcing process discipline
- Responsible for Project Management in Software development life cycle (SDLC), PMO office operations and implementation
- Keep project teams on track relative to scope, schedule, and resources
- Coach and mentor team members in continuous improvement and data analytics
- Validate bottom line impact of improvements
- Resolve conflicts in any aspect of project work and process changes
- Positively impact the organization through focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Serve as a change agent by leveraging influential authority with employees and stakeholders to accelerate program deliverables across geographic and functional boundaries
- Meet or exceed all goals and objectives by identifying and tracking high-risk areas by implementing risk mitigation early, developing contingency plans when needed, and maintaining constant communication with project stakeholder.
- Establish and utilize RAID log, project plan, & communication plan with stakeholders to keep all informed-on project progress. Identify, log, assign, and manage risk issue
- Plan, schedule, develop, and maintain resource tracking and risk management
- Develop/adapt the enterprise Project delivery strategy and the roadmaps for all enterprise-wide initiatives, including analyzing cost/benefit to maximize ROI and ensure initiatives delivered top value. Implement projects on time and within budget with minimal risk
Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years’ experience in Project Management; 5+ years’ experience in project management within the healthcare/health Insurance field.
- Proficient in project and program management. In-depth knowledge and experience of executing project in agile methodology.
- Experience with Project Management in software development life cycle, Project Management tools, Waterfall/Agile/Scrum.
- PMI or PMP certification required.
- Strong analytical and business judgment including demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to teach and mentor.
- Strong situational leadership and influencing skills. Bias for action and a track record of delivering results.
