Job description: A well-known Biotech company in the Albany area is looking for a REMOTE Project Manager – HR Operations to join their team! This is contract role with the potential for extension or permanent hire!Job Details:
- 100% Remote (EST)
- Pay: $49-81/hr.
- Long-term contract role, 12 months
Summary: The Project Manager will have primary responsibility for partnering with HR Operations leadership on global projects and establishing an operational excellence mindset within the Global HR function.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Collaborate with HR Operations on HR projects that support business and functional strategic objectives.
- Develop project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet business needs and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in identifying strategic areas of opportunity to improve operational efficiency, customer experience or cost.
- Create processes, tools and templates for the identification, execution, and successful handoff of projects within the HR function.
- Provide regular project updates through a close working relationship with HR Operations and stakeholders.
- Follow and apply the established methodologies and standards for project management and problem-solving techniques.
- Perform related duties as assigned or requested.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
- 4+ years of experience in a Continuous Improvement and Project Management related role.
- Project Management experience in Human Resource continuous improvement activities required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Understanding, application, and deployment of various problem-solving techniques or Continuous Improvement methodologies including Six Sigma (DMAIC, DMADV) and Lean.
- Knowledge and application of project management techniques and tools. Project Management Certification (PMP) preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to develop solutions to unusually complex problems that impact business outcomes.
- Proven ability to influence and communicate across multiple levels and regions of a global organization.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships across the business with various stakeholder groups.
- Working knowledge of change management strategies and tools
