Now, let’s see if this opportunity is the right challenge for you.MORI Associates is seeking a Project Manager to provide remote project management support for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) in support of the NASA Enterprise Multimedia and Integrated Technical Services (eMITS) contract. eMITS is the Agency’s enterprise-level contract creating and delivering multimedia and technical communications through the use of the internet, digital platforms, and IT management for NASA’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and Office of Communications (OCOMM). From photographing rocket launches and recoveries, to producing engaging videos, to information technology management, to using social media to share NASA’s message, eMITS integrates services for NASA IT and provides NASA’s communication to the outside world. Come join us in support of NASA’s mission to inspire the world through information and discovery.JOB DESCRIPTION / FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:This position will include but not be limited to the following activities:
- Assist with performing database analytics for the Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO).
- Determine best practices for leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) Governance to ensure tools and
systems remain safe and ethical.
- Documenting policy and process for Artificial Intelligence in governance at NASA.
- Supporting, updating, and maintaining AI Data Inventory collection.
- Documenting, maintaining, and implementing NASA’s AI Ethics Framework.
- Assisting in the implementation of a NASA AI Policy.
- Grow the community of practice for AI stewardship by facilitating working groups and tiger teams.
- Assist in developing a continuous improvement process to evolve the CAIO.
Performance Measurement (performance management)
- Assist in establishing, assessing, reviewing, and maintaining cascading performance management metrics to measure and evaluate progress towards NASA’s IT Strategic Plan, and support internal and external performance reporting.
- Develop and present performance reports for the CAIO front office and OCIO as required.
- Ensure best practices are considered and policy/processes are understood and followed.
- Assist in developing requirements for the performance management capability aligned with the OCIO Program/Project Management (PPM)/IT Service Management (ITSM) toolset.
This position will be responsible for providing the following deliverables:
- Providing Performance Management Objectives and Key Results for CAIO.
- Supporting the NASA objective: Summer of AI
- Create, track, and report on risks for CAIO.
- Document requirements to feed enterprise solution tools.
- Document the working groups and tiger teams needed to grow the community of practice (CoP).
- Policy for Artificial Intelligence management
EDUCATION AND PREVIOUS WORK REQUIREMENTS:Minimum education – BA/BS in Project Management, Communications, Business Administration or an IT related discipline
Minimum experience – 8 yearsEXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES/SKILLS:Minimum Requirements:
- 8+ years of project management experience
- 3+ years of AI experience
- 3-5 years of performance management spanning business/mission (outcomes/impacts), tactical (project planning/execution), and operational (service/product delivery)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and/or Balanced Scorecard, and ideally both practices
- Experience using tools to capture and implement requirements
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Lync, Teams, OneNote, One Drive), SharePoint, and Box.Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
- Strategy Management (desired, not required)
- ITIL Certification (desired, not required)
- Microsoft SharePoint (desired, not required)
- Microsoft Project (desired, not required)
