- Work closely with management to maintain accurate listings across hiring platforms.
- Draft, edit and post job listings for all major departments.
- Review and follow-up with candidates in a timely manner, ideally within 1 business day.
- Vet qualified candidates by phone, screening them for skills/qualities needed to fulfill each position.
- Communicate with management to coordinate and schedule 2nd in-person interviews.
- Maintain communication with HR to ensure new hires complete necessary paperwork.
- Draft offer letters for new hires and coordinate on-boarding process including orientation dates.
- Act as key point of contact for external recruiting agencies.
- Manage monthly recruiting budget, allocating funds to various departments appropriately.
- Serve as daily back up to front desk receptionist as needed, answering phones, greeting customers and routing requests to appropriate departments.
- Assist HR Manager with assigned administrative tasks and/or projects.
Job Requirements
- Flexibility to adjust schedule as needed to accommodate candidate vetting.
- Strong time management skills to balance both in-person and remote work.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a flexible schedule.
- Excellent verbal, written and communication skills.
- Must be analytical, highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Ability to work effectively, both independently and in a team environment.
- Advanced computer skills.
- Mastery in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous experience in recruiting.
- Experience recruiting within the trades industry, strongly preferred.
Expected salary: $23 – 25 per hour
