Job Type: 6-Month Contract to Full-Time Conversion
Location: Fully RemoteRole Overview: Our client is seeking 4 talented PHP Engineers to join their remote team on a 6-month contract basis, with the opportunity to transition to full-time roles based on performance.Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using PHP to support core CRM and ATS products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and frontend developers, to deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
- Ensure code quality, scalability, and performance across a large, distributed system.
- Participate in agile development practices, including sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous integration.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and non-production environments.
- Work in a fully remote, collaborative, and fast-paced environment with opportunities for direct impact on the product and user experience.
Qualifications:
- Strong experience as a PHP developer, with a proven track record of building scalable, maintainable backend systems.
- Familiarity with modern PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or similar.
- Experience working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
- Solid understanding of web services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
- Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote setup while being a collaborative team player.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in the staffing industry or with CRM/ATS platforms.
- Familiarity with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools for deployment and monitoring.
- Angular development.
