Job description: Seeking Physician (MD, DO), Nurse Practitioner or Physician AssistantCandidate must have current registration with the Texas Board of Medical Examiners as a licensed Physician, Physician Assistant – Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program required, master’s degree required or have a valid TX APRN-CNP Nurse Practitioner License allowing them to work per Texas BON regulations.ECare Medical Group is seeking a Remote Provider to work full-time or Part-Time experienced Physician, Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its growing team of 2 physician and other providers. Successful candidate must be energetic, compassionate, self-motivated, and able to work independently.Primary Care Physician Essential Responsibilities
- Fully engaged in the concept of “Integrated team-based care” model;
- Focusing on outpatient medicine, continuity of care, health maintenance, and disease prevention;
- Demonstrates both autonomy and proficiency in performance of comprehensive health assessments and communicate Plan of Care with Patients and/or their families;
- Proficient in diagnosing, treating and managing the Medicare Advantage population with multiple comorbidities;
- Effectively communicates with all members of the care team and facilitates a medically appropriate and effective plan of care to avoid unnecessary duplication of testing, and fragmentation of care;
- Observes the scope of practice in the state in which he or she is licensed and working in.
Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant responsibilities:
- Providing support and services within professional teams under the direct or indirect supervision of a Physician.
- Developing a rapport with patients and families and providing education.
- Documenting patient care and compliance with quality standards.
- Ordering and conducting medical investigations under the supervision of a Physician.
- Assessing the condition and needs of the patient based on interviews, interactions, and observations.
- Performing selected diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.
- Ordering and interpreting patient laboratory and radiological results.
- Completing any mandatory training outlined by their employer.
- See and assess patients who are in need of medical care.
- Also responsible for pre-op and post-op follow-ups and facilitating referrals.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work well with all team members.
- Excellent initiative and independent judgment.
- Ability to multi-task and troubleshoot with creative thinking.
Eligibility & Qualifications:
- Ability to conduct Telehealth Audio and Video Encounters;
- Ability to use Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to document patient encounters;
- Knowledge of ICD-10 Coding and STAR measure attainments;
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated ability to problem-solve complex and multifaceted situations;
- Being Bilingual is a plus;
- Strong organizational, and task prioritization skills .
Expected salary: $50000 – 60000 per year
