With industry leading benefits, tenured & talented Leadership and flexible work from home opportunity, this growth related role won’t be open long!The Senior Accountant will play a vital role in the Accounting Department and will be responsible for financial reporting, general ledger accounting, month end close, and other ad hoc duties as assigned.Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end close process including preparation of journal entries, general ledgers, and other related work papers.
- Support annual internal and external financials and audits, including the preparation of audit schedules, financial statements and footnotes.
- Assist with special projects (testing system enhancements and establishing new account reconciliations).
- Assist with daily cash projections and reconciling of cash credit sales, and gift card reconciliations.
- Support management team with ad hoc requests.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of corporate or Public Accounting Experience.
- CPA license Preferred
- BS/BA in related field is required. Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics preferred.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP required.
- Experience in cash reconciliations, credit card reconciliation, and gift card reconciliations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
