This team provides professional services to help our nonprofit clients accomplish their goals. You are a great candidate for this role if you understand the expectations of professional services such as high client satisfaction and meeting productivity metrics.You can work with your nonprofit clients from home (anywhere in the US) or our Seattle office. This position is a great fit for an experienced Salesforce administrator with broad technical skills who can switch between focusing on details and seeing the big picture.You will join a team that is passionate about leveraging Salesforce’s unique capabilities to drive social change. You must have a strong technical knowledge of Salesforce so you can tailor solutions to the needs of each client organization. This position requires creativity, teamwork, empathy, and the ability to communicate successfully with client representatives, including those from diverse backgrounds and those with little technical knowledge.ResponsibilitiesOn an annual basis, the time breakdown of the responsibilities of the Senior Salesforce Consultant is expected to be as follows:Consulting / Architect 50%
- Design the organization strategy and data model for a Salesforce implementation. Include technical solution’s identity and access, implement data and process integrations, and design solutions that account for large data volumes and data privacy needs. Design the optimal solution for a business requirement and recommend using clicks, code, or a combination of both, depending on the business use case.
- Consult with clients to understand their needs, define requirements, recommend, and implement solutions using Salesforce best practices
- Advise clients evaluating third-party apps to extend Salesforce functionality. Integrate chosen apps with Salesforce to support client’s business processes.
Engineering 50%
- Salesforce configuration changes including (but not limited to) Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, Lightning record pages, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards, and reports.
- Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed.
- Configuration of access and security including but not limited to profiles, permission sets, and groups and sharing settings.

Required
- Four years working with Salesforce, at least three years with system administrator privileges
- Experience with Salesforce implementations from requirements to launch and support
- Three years’ experience with Salesforce Nonprofit Success Pack
- Experience automating business processes, using validation rules and Flows
- Experience with Salesforce Program Management Module (PMM)
- Expert-level experience with Salesforce Flow
- Experience building Experience Cloud portals
- Experience integrating third-party applications with Salesforce
- Experience with Agile methodology
- Experience working with DevOps tools like native Salesforce DevOps and managing repositories using GitHub
- Salesforce certifications: Administrator and Platform App Builder
- Trailhead at Ranger level
Preferred
- Experience working with nonprofit organizations
- Experience in customer service, business analysis, or consulting
- Experience with ETL tools
- Experience with other Salesforce offerings like Volunteers for Salesforce (V4S), Outbound Funds Module (OFM), DLRS, etc.
- Experience with Nonprofit Cloud (NPC)
- Some experience with Apex/Visualforce/JavaScript/HTML
- Experience creating (un)managed packages
- Salesforce certifications Nonprofit Cloud consultant and Experience Cloud consultant.
- Experience with a wide range of third-party integrations like form builders, payment processors, donation and event platforms, mass email integrations, and text messaging
- Experience using software hosted on dedicated servers
- Active participant in the Salesforce community such as participating in user groups and being an active user on Trailhead or other Salesforce-related sites.
