We work on a diverse range of buildings, infrastructure, and industrial facilities, providing innovative solutions to meet both functional and safety requirements. The team focuses on delivering high-quality structural designs, collaborating with architects, partners, and other engineers to create efficient, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions that adhere to regulatory standards and client specifications.Your role:The Sr. Designer works with Engineers and Project Managers to prepare complete construction documents and assist during the construction support phase and acts as a primary technical contact on projects.Prepare proposals and required drafting fees.Understand and convey scope, schedules and end-product needs to the internal project team.Layout plans, sections and details to specified company/client CAD standards working directly with engineers and project managers.Review project documents for coordination with all disciplines to avoid and resolve conflictsParticipate in internal coordination meetings and client coordination meetings.Design and layout preliminary concepts and accurately communicate the content.Prepare and edit specifications, coordinate with drawings, and review shop drawings.Communicate with client and contractors regarding RFI’s and field questions.Support project team in nurturing the client relationship.Provide direction and distribute work to technicians, designers and engineers.Mentor and train technical staff to produce high-quality design services and deliverables.Perform a quality control review.Perform site visits as needed.Your resume must include:Certificate in construction-related design/drafting or higher and at least 8 years of directly related experience.OR at least 9 years of directly related experience in lieu of certificate.Starting Hourly Range: $33.50 – $52.50.
