- Looking for a Service Desk that Troubleshoots and resolves hardware software and application issues installs and configures software and provides technical support and training.
- They may also maintain and repair hardware and provide account management for password resets and lockouts.
- IT help desk technicians should be tech savvy have strong communication skills and be passionate about customer service and problem solving. They may also guide clients through corrective steps.

- Triaging IT-related questions This involves assessing the severity of a user’s issue and directing them to the most appropriate resource either self-service options internal knowledge base articles or a more specialized technician.
- Builds a knowledge base of IT practices Documenting solutions and best practices in a central location is vital for both new IT staff and for providing users with self-service options.
- Drive to offsite facilities to triage issues In some cases problems may require someone to be physically present to diagnose and fix the issue. This could be for server issues at a remote location or specific hardware problems.
Job LocationPrimary: FortMyersBeach-FL USASalary and Other Compensation:The annual salary for this position is between $63,500 – $74,500 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.Benefits: Cognizant offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:
