We are expanding our team to drive our API strategy, enhancing both our external and internal platforms to deliver world-class solutions.We are seeking an experienced Service Developer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our development team and business analysts to design, implement, and enhance APIs across a diverse and complex portfolio of insurance applications. Your primary focus will be on creating and refining enterprise-level APIs to support our evolving technology landscape.The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or possess equivalent experience. You should have 2-5 years of hands-on experience in developing RESTful services and implementing solutions using design patterns. Proficiency in .NET Framework and Web Services is essential, along with experience in C#, Visual Studio, and relational databases. Familiarity with NuGet, IDEs, Azure, Swagger, and version control tools such as Git/GitHub is also required.We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive individual with strong organizational skills. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication abilities, superior problem-solving skills, and the capacity to multitask effectively. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, validate, and deliver high quality API’s for large scale systems.
- Understand and implement industry aligned security standards such as OAUTH and JWT and work with Enterprise Architecture to define shared solutions for broad consumption.
- Develop API’s using .NET, Azure API management, Azure AD, and Azure SQL.
- Develop and package reusable enterprise framework components.
- Work across IT teams to ensure code quality, performance and scalability of deployed products.
- Participate in and/or conduct reviews (e.g. enterprise integration, solution design, security, code, etc.)
- Review and evaluate application requirements (business, functional, and technical).
