You will gain intimate knowledge of world-class silicon and programming models, and work with architecture and design teams to define the next generation of ASIC products being developed.Who you’ll work withOur team develops the full software stack enabling the Silicon One network processors. We work with the Open Standards community and our fantastic customers to deliver best in class routing and switching platforms.These platforms play a key role in the emerging field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. We work with subject-matter experts around the world who share a common mission to deliver world-class products and to have fun doing it.Who you areYou are self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and can quickly ramp on multiple, interdisciplinary domains. You believe in building software that has clean APIs and well-defined layers and possess good debugging skills. Additionally, you’re able to work independently across geographically diverse teams (working with individuals located around the globe) and have creative analytical skills.Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related degree and 5+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience
- Experience in C++ and Python.
- Experience in algorithms and data structures.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in analytical reasoning and debugging, with practical experience in using tools such as GDB, PDB, etc.
- Experience with networking protocols and technologies
- Experience in Open Standard Network Operating Systems and APIs : SONiC, FBOSS, SAI etc.

For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.
