If you meet the qualifications listed below and would like to find out more about the position, please Apply Now!Position Summary:Role: Technical Product SpecialistLocation: Onsite, in-person, no remote workWork Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pmEmployment Type: Temp to hireCore Responsibilities:Communicate with customers to gather technical product specifications, answer inquiries, and provide quotes.Work closely with sales, engineering, and production teams to finalize bids and product orders.Manage the quoting and order fulfillment process, ensuring timely communication and coordination.Participate in project reviews, order entry, and troubleshooting of technical or customer-related issues.Provide value-engineered solutions to customers when applicable, offering cost-saving alternatives.Handle customer complaints and feedback, maintaining strong customer service and satisfaction.Work with product managers, marketing, and other internal teams to stay up-to-date on product offerings, pricing, and changes.Required Qualifications:Technical background: Mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing-related experience or education.Education: A degree in a STEM field is strongly preferred (or equivalent technical training/school).Experience: Entry-level role, with no experience required, though up to 2 years of experience is acceptable.Skills: Basic Excel experience, ability to work with ERP systems (specifically Epicor, but other similar ERP experience is acceptable).Customer service: Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and customer relationships.Desired Skills:Experience in project estimation (a plus but not required).Mechanical or electrical inclination is key in understanding the technical aspects of the job.Physical Requirements:Ability to perform tasks such as sitting, standing, walking, and lifting up to 10 lbs.Good vision (near, distance, color, and peripheral vision).Additional Notes:Training: On-the-job training will be provided for Encon’s processes and products.Role Focus: This is not an IT job; it requires mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing technical knowledge to handle customer specifications and develop technical quotes.Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
