Job description: Technical Project ManagerThe Engineering Operations’ team’s mission is to accelerate the outcomes of Client’s Application & Cloud Engineering organization by driving programs and uniting cross-functional teams. The Technical Project Manager (TPM) role focuses on the full lifecycle of technical projects/programs from scope definition to packaged handoff. TPMs are responsible for initiating projects, following their progress, and serving as support providers in case issues arise. This position is for a self-starter who can take initiative to drive results with minimal supervision, be solution oriented, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.Responsibilities
- Create and publish quarterly plans Scope, Schedule, Resources, Risks with linkages to business goals and Client / ACP strategy
- Lead and coordinate execution of committed deliverables to plan across product, engineering, E2E validation and cross-functions
- Manage technical interdependencies; identify risks, define implications of changes to plans on timelines/scope based on execution progress and refined business priorities
- Manage priorities balancing customer value, quality, timeliness, and risk
- Apply structured methodologies to approve and document changes to drive effective change management, re-plan activities and communication of impact
- Drive teams to meet commitments and achieve success, holding self and team accountable for results
- Demonstrate diplomacy and maturity to identify and interact with stakeholders, assess their needs, provide metrics/status reports as needed, and manage stakeholder’s expectations throughout the program.
- Communicate effectively to all levels of the organization, entry through leadership.
- Evaluate internal business and technical processes and recommend changes to drive continuous improvements
- Act as Agile Coach to scrum masters, as needed
- Contribute to Program Management efforts to establish and continuously improve best practices.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Self-starter who needs minimum supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or technical field of study.
- Ability to establish, maintain and improve relationships with team members across multiple cross-functions and office locations.
- 10+ years of Project Manager, Business Analyst, Developer, Scrum Master, Agile Coach or Agile Project Manager with at least 3+ years of experience leading Agile/Scrum teams, serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach or Agile Project Manager
- Experience developing commercial solutions for external users
- Strong operational excellence focus Manages activities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of processes with ability to juggle multiple projects, tasks, and competing deadlines.
- Strategic thinking Uses knowledge of company business and engineering ops strategies to guide recommendations and decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- 12+ years of work experience
- Project Management / Agile Certification (CSM, CSP, CSPO, SPC4, etc.)
- Healthcare domain experience
- Experience with hardware/devices technologies
- Familiar with SaaS and Cloud based applications/environments
- Familiar with data analytics, machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies
Work Conditions
- Work from home/remote work environment
- Ability to travel up to 20% (could be subject to change)
