Due to growth we are seeking a Transportation Engineer to join our team at our headquarters in Minneapolis, MN!What’s In It for You:$70k – $100k base salary (DOE)3% profit sharing401k with 3% contributionHybrid Remote schedule once up to speedMedical, dental, vision, life insuranceGenerous PTOPaid company holidaysGrowthWhat You Need for this Position:Bachelors Degree in Civil EngineeringExperience with AutoCAD, Civil3d, MicroStation/Open Roads would be nice to haveEIT or PE preferred but not requiredWhat You Will Be Doing:Preliminary and Final Roadway Design – developing all aspects of roadway design including typical sections, alignments, profiles, superelevation, and guardrailIntersection Design – designing for safety and mobility at traditional at-grade intersections, roundabouts, J-turns, and interchangesADA Design – scoping and designing accessible pedestrian facilities in new construction and retrofitsMulti-disciplinary Design Integration – ensuring that all aspects of roadway, drainage, and traffic designs mesh together in a seamless final designPlans, Specs, and Estimates – organizing and leading production of complete PS&E packages for successful letting and constructionQuality Control – checking technical documents for accuracy, compliance with standards, biddability, and buildabilityProject Leadership – organizing the work of the design team to ensure on-time, on-budget deliveryTeam Development – planning developmentally appropriate tasks for junior staff to rapidly grow their technical capabilities, engineering judgement, and drive for excellenceBenefitsApplicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.Additional ways to applyPreferred Skills
