Job description: Job SummaryThe Human Resources (Person Office) Compliance Analyst is responsible for supporting the Corporate Person Office team by ensuring the timely completion of essential tasks related to employment screening, I9 processing, leaves of absence and accommodation administration, and assistance with other processes. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can prioritize tasks, monitor compliance processes, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate will assist in identifying and addressing compliance issues, ensuring the organization remains compliant with all legal and regulatory requirements. This role is essential in ensuring the company’s ongoing compliance efforts and will be a critical part of the team’s success.Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance Administration:
- Compliance Monitoring: Review, monitor, and follow up with background checks, drug tests, and I-9 documentation to ensure all compliance standards are met for new employees.
- Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and organized records of compliance and other activities, ensuring accessibility for review, audits, and document control.
- Support for Adjudication Process: Assist with the background adjudication process, including the preparation of pre-adverse and post-adverse action notices and complex individualized interviews and assessments.
Leaves and Accommodations Administration:
- Leaves Administration: Administer assigned leave and accommodation cases and assist with cases managed by other team members as requested.
- Communication: Maintain communication with all stakeholders. Ensure alignment with company Mission and Values.
- System Management: Ensure LOA system and document control is compliant with law, policy, and company practices.
- System Maintenance: Participate in continual evaluation and improvement of LOA related systems and processes to ensure positive employee experiences and smooth function for internal teams.
- Person Office (HR) Team Support
- Assist with Person Office administration processes, including but not limited to hiring, separations, data change entries, contractor onboarding, other processing, tracking, reporting, monitoring, and follow through.
General Responsibilities:
- Task Prioritization: Consistently prioritize urgent and important tasks to ensure smooth workflow, flagging issues that require immediate attention.
- Issue Flagging: Identify and report compliance risks, discrepancies, or gaps in processes to the Person Office.
- System Utilization: Use relevant software and tools to track processes, compliance statuses and generate reports.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with the team to enhance knowledge through ongoing learning and feedback. Researches and stays up to date on ever-changing employment law and compliance requirements.

- Attention to Detail: Ability to review, enter, and process information with high accuracy.
- Time Management: Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage high-volume workflows effectively.
- Critical Thinking: Proficient in objectively analyzing data and circumstances and making competent and judicious decisions based on complex regulatory requirements.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both internal teams, external candidates, and other contacts.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with MS Office, typical HR platforms, and compliance software packages and tracking systems (training on company specific systems and platforms will be provided).
- Integrity: A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following ethical practices.
- Adaptability: Ability to handle high-pressure situations, deal with difficult people effectively and with care and empathy, adapt to changing processes, and support team members as needed.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of two years of experience in a legal or human resources compliance-related role required.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in employment law, human resources, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
- Demonstrated competence in employment law and regulatory compliance processes required.
- Experience with background checks, drug testing, and I-9 verification processes required.
- Experience with leave and accommodation administration strongly preferred.
- PHR / SHRM-CP certification and/or FCRA Basic certificate a plus.
Work Environment:
- This position operates in a professional or remote office environment. Conditions, physical requirements, and equipment are typical of this type of role and general office environments.
- Occasional evening or weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
- Occasional travel may be required.

All benefits are subject to any plan changes at the Company’s sole discretion.Compensation: this position will be paid on a salaried basis with a pay range between $50,000 and $60,000 annually depending on prior experience. This base pay is subject to all applicable statutory deductions and authorized withholdings as required by law. This base pay is also subject to any authorized deductions to contribute toward the employee’s portion of benefits premiums and/or 401(k) contributions.
