Job description: The Application Analyst/Client Support will work cooperatively as part of the Information Technology team by assisting in the management and support of the installation, documentation, and upgrades of applications used by Horizons Mental Health Center. Find resolution of issues reported by individuals in the organization. Evaluate workflows and ways to utilize the system to increase staff productivity.
Conduct testing, locate potential problems, and solve them in an efficient manner.
Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.This position has access to and knowledge of extremely sensitive, private and confidential materials. Ability to maintain the highest standard of privacy is required.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain master document outlining functionality within the electronic health record.
- Answers requests for assistance promptly, courteously, and professionally to provide superior levels of customer service while gathering the necessary information to determine the resolution process.
- Resolves issues, prioritizes incoming requests, and appropriately works or assigns support tickets.
- Research existing, initiate new, and/or update documentation.
- Testing of documents and workflows.
- Help staff troubleshoot issues to resolve problems.
- Assists with providing training to staff as needed.
- Manage software applications used by the agency in order to meet staff and consumer needs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
- In-depth, hands-on knowledge of and experience with various enterprise and desktop applications.
- Proven experience with troubleshooting principles, methodologies, and issue resolution techniques.
- Must have excellent communication, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Able to develop and interpret technical documentation for training and end user procedures.
- Knowledge of trends in technology relating to software applications.
- Experience with building and maintaining databases for query and problem tracking.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Ability to absorb new ideas and concepts quickly.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Very strong customer service orientation.
- Good organization skills.

- Bachelor’s Degree in the field of computer science, information systems or 3 years equivalent work experience.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3 years of experience in information systems or computer science.
- Experience in mental health related field preferred but not required.
