In basic terms, we are looking to update our LDAP Configuration within SAP Business Objects. Someone to be responsible for providing IT Applications Development, Administration, and Product Support. This role performs work of considerable difficulty with program design, development, and implementation, as well as system administration of applications.ResponsibilitiesContinuously improve the reliability, predictability and performance for all development & support services adhering to industry best practicesEnsure our end users have a great experience through exceptional customer serviceHelp the organization adapt to constant business challengesWork closely with Business Owners, Business Analysts, and other IT teamsDevelop and support system integrations using middlewareAdminister and support various SaaS applications, including Herc’s document management system (Filenet)Administer, support and develop various Herc-hosted proprietary applicationsMaintain SOP documentation, standards, policies, and proceduresRegularly review operational processes for efficiency, effectiveness, and complianceDocument business & functional requirements, as well as testing effortsPartner with cybersecurity team to remediate application vulnerabilitiesrementsProfessional ExperienceEducational BackgroundBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Management Information Systems preferredConditions of Employment

- Programming / scripting experience
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle
- Experience with software testing, design & execution
- Source control system experience, preferably Git

- Core Java, C# and Javascript knowledge/experience
- Middleware tool experience (i.e. Mulesoft)
- Knowledge of at least one scripting language (i.e. Python, Bash, etc.)
- Cloud-based and serverless architectures
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins
- Advanced Excel skills, including VBA
