  • Develop policies and/or plans to support the Army Health System.
  • Interpret laws to develop strategies that align with organizational goals, focusing on Health Service Support and/or Force Health Protection.
  • Communicate regularly with higher headquarters to provide project updates.

RequirementsConditions of Employment

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for Tier 3 – Non-Critical Sensitive (Moderate Risk) security clearance Secret or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position may require the incumbent to travel up to 30 percent of the time.
  • This appointment is subject to completion of a 3 year probation period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements.

Specialized experience is defined as;(1) Collaborate in the drafting of policies and/or procedures for organization programs;(2) Present and/or verify data related to program development ensuring alignment with organizational goals; and(3) Provide updates to stakeholders regarding the project’s status and/or milestones.This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service DB-02 (GS-11 equivalent).EducationSome federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the minimum qualification requirement using experience alone–no substitution of education for experience is permitted.Additional information
