Job description: Description & RequirementsThis candidate will foster relationships with our top channel partners and their customers and prospects, as well as build relationships with new partners. This will include creating and implementing sales growth strategies designed to increase profitability, closing difficult and strategic sales, accurately forecasting, and moderating discussions between our marketing team and the channel partners to continuously build pipeline. They will also be responsible for assessing the challenges and growth areas of partnerships and gaining partner mindshare to improve performance.A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Leveraging channel management best practices by collaborating with peers in cross-functional teams within Infor.
- Assisting in the development of the regional and national marketing strategy and campaigns that support channel partner revenue goals.
- Managing sales and management activities within assigned channels including planning, budgeting, project management, execution, and success metrics.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in marketing, operations, business development, sales, customer success and/or management consulting.
- Experience working with marketing to develop channel partner ecosystem.
- Experience presenting to C-Suite level.
- Experience working in a software sales role negotiating and closing business.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience as a business consultant.
- Experience working with partners in software industry.
- Distribution industry experience.
- Bachelors or Masters in Business or related field.
- Customer management experience.
