Job description: Responsibilities:Noblis MSD’s mission is to support the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCPD) and their missions to enable research, development, test and evaluation, acquisition, engineering, systems integration, in-service and Fleet engineering with cybersecurity, comprehensive logistics, and life-cycle savings. Currently we are looking to hire a Cloud DeveloperProfessionals in cloud engineering are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure and services to enable organizations to leverage the benefits of cloud computing. They utilize their expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure as code, automation, and scalability to architect resilient, secure, and cost-effective solutions that meet business requirements. Typical responsibilities include designing cloud architectures, selecting appropriate cloud services and providers, and implementing cloud infrastructure using tools such as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks and configuration management tools. Cloud engineering roles also involve optimizing cloud resources, monitoring performance, and implementing security measures to ensure data protection and compliance with industry standards. Additionally, professionals collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud solutions with existing systems, migrate applications to the cloud, and provide ongoing support and maintenance. Their expertise in areas such as cloud technologies, networking, security, and DevOps practices enables organizations to harness the full potential of cloud computing to drive innovation, agility, and scalability in their operations.You solve a variety of structured problems by applying professional standards and Noblis concepts and methodologies. You have deep knowledge of a particular area and a general awareness of other areas. Working independently with general instruction, you apply intermediate skills to deliver high quality work products and services to support projects. You are responsible for planning and managing project deliverables and engaging in open-minded interactions with clients and co-workers to deliver results. You are also responsible for expanding your capabilities in your current work and leveraging opportunities to grow through interactions across the organization.Job responsibilities include:

  • Architect and develop cloud-based infrastructure, including Amazon Web Services (AWS)
  • Manage Terraform infrastructure as code
  • Strong experience with DevOps, including container lifecycle management
  • Create identity management solutions with SAML and Oauth
  • Track issue progress in Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket
  • Document and hand off cloud architecture to internal team for sustainment

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ or more years of related experience
  • DoD Secret Clearance is desired and the ability to obtain one is required
  • Have access to the internet.
  • Have access to a web browser
  • Must have access to Adobe Acrobat Reader

The projected compensation range for this position is provided within the posting and are based on full time status. Part time staff receive a prorated salary based on regularly scheduled hours.
