Core values at EJ include safety and security, honesty and integrity, environmental responsibility, respect for others, quality and excellence, and social responsibility.Location: East Jordan, Michigan (onsite or hybrid)SUMMARYThe Corporate Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Works with Human Resources Managers to develop, facilitate, and implement all phases of the recruitment process.
- Assist Human Resources Managers to recruit, interview, test, and select salaried and hourly employees to fill vacant positions.
- Administers online employee/applicant tracking software (ADP RM) and coordinates the process. Troubleshoots and corrects errors in the system.
- Acts as company liaison with recruitment system vendor on system updates, revisions, and new function testing and roll outs.
- Consults with Hiring and Human Resources Managers to understand the requirements, duties, and qualifications desired for the specified vacant positions.
- Develops job descriptions and maintains job description database for all positions in the US.
- Counsels candidates and trains hiring managers, and HR managers on the interview and hiring process.
- Maintains, analyzes, and reports recruiting data/metrics of active and filled requisitions and candidates.
- Consults data and records to identify and select potential candidates for vacant positions.
- Screens candidates, selects qualified and interested candidates for the interviewing phase, and then connects viable candidates with hiring managers.
- Checks candidates references and credentials, verifying experience and backgrounds.
- Organizes and attends job fairs, campus events, and other networking opportunities for the corporate office and at remote locations as needed.
- Follows up with hiring managers after the interview process to determine whether a placement can be made; collects feedback when placement is unsuccessful; determines and executes next steps for the role.
- Administers Talent Pool accounts (Ex: LinkedIn Recruiter, State Talent Banks etc.), Company Careers page, and other external job posting sites.
- Responds to general inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
- Coordinates and administers the company internship program.
- Develops print and electronic recruiting communications internally and externally to support Human Resources goals and objectives.
- Provides support to Corporate Human Resources leadership team.
- Promotes the culture, the mission and vision, and the core values of the company. This includes adherence to and promotion of the company safety beliefs, employee engagement, competencies, code of conduct, and other policies and procedures.

A.) from four-year college or university, preference to Human Resources, or Business Administration, area of study; and one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated ability to formulate corporate communications. High level of verbal and written communication abilities required.
- SHRM certification is preferred.
- SHRM Talent Acquisition Specialty Credential a plus.
COMPUTER SKILLSTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Human Resource systems, preferably ADP platforms, Spreadsheet, Word Processing, and presentation software.
