Role Summary:CHC has an exciting opportunity in their Texas operation for a Director, IT Infrastructure. This role is responsible for the leadership and vision for the development, maintenance, use and future needs of the Infrastructure systems, network, telecommunications, data center and cloud operations. They will lead the team to achieve high levels of system compliance, availability, performance, usability and client services. Ensures 24/7 system availability, proper backup and recovery as well as full Disaster Recovery. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages global team responsible for infrastructure, network, security and cloud operations
  • Works closely with the Global Director of IT to develop and implement digital transformation strategy for company, with emphasis on cybersecurity, data management and protection and cloud transformation
  • Responsible for downline project and operational budget of IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity service lines
  • Manages the complete lifecycle of Infrastructure products and services ensuring their alignment with security policies, architecture strategy and business goals
  • Design and implement technical strategy and standards designed by, architecture, and own the technology roadmap for IT infrastructure and Cybersecurity.
  • Lead the successful migration and modernization of datacenter infrastructure services into Microsoft Azure to provide highly available and scalable, yet cost effective, support services for all business units within CHC
  • Direct the development and execution of a holistic data management strategy, driving the identification, security, and optimization of company data assets. Leverage secure cloud operations platforms to facilitate the seamless integration of machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies, empowering various business units with actionable insights
  • Exceptional organizational skills, technical expertise, and financial acumen, effectively coordinate with company leadership, technical teams, vendors, and business users to ensure successful project implementations and on-going operations.
  • Develops process for infrastructure life cycle management including Planning, Procurement, Deployment, Asset Management (ITAM) and Asset Disposal (ITAD)
  • Manage multiple initiatives and priorities, scale teams and ensure the team has clear and measurable goals
  • Ensure the teams are performing the necessary operational work to improve uptime and security by conducting routine checks, proactive monitoring and proper maintenance, secure backups and scheduled patching
  • Develops forward-looking road map to reduce cost of infrastructure while maintaining stable and high performing systems
  • Ensures all Backup and Recovery systems function properly and conducts periodic validation tests
  • Participates in Major Incident Management events
  • Works with 3rd party Cyber-Security teams to ensure system security and compliance

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:

  • 8-12 years’ experience in IT management role
  • BS/BA or higher preferred in related disciplines desired or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of diverse information technology experience
  • 5+ years of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft M365 experience
  • 3+ years of network engineering experience
  • Minimum 8 years’ experience working in a Microsoft server environment
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with VMWare VSphere preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications and presentation skills, including formal report writing experience
