Partners with the Vice President of Services to provide visionary leadership, shaping leave of absence strategies for our clients, fostering client relationships, and contributing to the growth and success of the business.Successful candidates will: thrive in a small energetic team environment; have a proven ability to lead a large, dynamic team; conduct client interactions with credibility and curiosity; demonstrate excellent knowledge of federal and multi-state leave laws, have strong business acumen and time-management skills; stay organized and focused in the midst of changing priorities, and consistently deliver quality work.The salary range for this position is $100,000 to $120,000 depending on relevant experience and qualifications.WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Lead all Leave Administration Services team members, including hiring and separating as necessary, providing ongoing performance feedback, and directing their day-to-day activities, in partnership with the Senior Leave Management Specialists.
- Drive and maintain accountability for the strategic direction, quality, profitability and scalability of Leave Administration Services.
- Monitor and support the accurate and timely completion of all leave administration activities such as processing all leaves including, but not limited to, FMLA, state and local non-FMLA medical and sick leaves, personal leaves, and ADA accommodation requests for employees located across the United States.
- Support the sales process to successfully educate prospects on our services and onboard new Leave Administration clients.
- Drive the development, implementation and improvement of leave templates, technology resources and other tools and resources designed to improve accuracy, efficiency and quality of service.
- Ensure client tickets, requests and calls are responded to in a timely manner and that all activities are managed in accordance with client policies and are in compliance with all federal, state & local laws.
- Ensures a positive client experience and continually looks for process improvement opportunities.
- Ensures the work of the team is of top quality by continually reviewing quality metrics and adjusting, as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
- Carry out client management responsibilities for outsourcing clients, including conducting client meetings related to leave administration planning and decision-making and issue resolution.
- Partnering with leave administration software team, providing feedback for system updates, communicating and training those updates to the LOA team.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of team performance and client satisfaction.
- Analyze data and insights to continuously improve service quality and outcomes.
- Serve as the resident expert on benefits and leave, providing guidance, consultation and training to the Leave Team members and clients, as appropriate.
- In partnership with the Senior Leave Management Specialists, train the Leave Team members on standard process, resources and tools related to leave administration, including preparing and implementing training plans for new team members.
- Work with other department managers to ensure seamless coordination and execution of client activities and clearly defined roles and responsibilities.
- Provide coverage for team members who are absent or needing to focus on projects, and ensure phones are covered during hours of operation.
- Respond to and/or route incoming calls, perform various office management-type tasks, as needed, and address other duties as assigned.

- Work remotely utilizing video conferencing tools to communicate with clients and Trüpp team members.
WHAT’S GOT YOU HERE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Management or other related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Three to five years’ of related job experience with at least two years in a leadership position.
- PHR, SHRM-CP, CLMS or other related HR professional certification strongly preferred.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to align leave strategies with business goals.
- Demonstrate working knowledge in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and other software programs.
- Ability to periodically travel locally; occasionally travel regionally and nationally.
